Guess what I received from my boyfriend for Valentine's Day? It's something I've been wanting for a whlie......
Two weeks later, I finally got the watch sized and now I'll be sporting it everyday. :-) Thanks R! Love you!

I need it.
This weekend I was a total slacker, so on Saturday one would have found me laying on my boyfriend's couch. ALL. DAY. LONG. In my defense, I did had a (slight) headache. But back to the point....during my highly productive Saturday, I watched Sex in the City 2. Of course all the clothes are eye-catching and oh-so-pretty, but there was one dress that I absolutely loved. Can you guess which one?
Yes, it is the Halston Heritage orange maxi dress and I can't live without. I need it, however my bank account can't really take a hit like that. So, I ask you if there are any look-a-likes out there that are more budget friendly? If anyone can point me in the right direction, I owe you BIG time.

Last November I got my first iphone (whoop whoop)! I have a case, but since then I have been eyeing a new one.
Which case would you choose?

Fat Tuesday, Baby!
Last year, my boyfriend (R) lived in Mobile, AL and we had the pleasure of attending the Order of the Inca Mardi Gras party. I didn't realize that Mardi Gras actually started in Mobile (not New Orleans), so those people pretty much party the whole month of February.
Aaaand, in honor of Fat Tuesday, a few pictures from last year.....

Sleevey Nix Shift Dress
I've told you all before about The Blue Door Boutique (post here), and since then I have been religiously checking their facebook page for new arrivals. Well, ladies, this dress is IT.
It is simple, but the detailing on the sleeves make it unique. I'm sure no one else will show up at the party wearing this same dress. You're welcome.

Craigslist Round-Up
I haven't done a craigslist round-up in a while, so I think it is time. Who's with me? Glad to see everyone is as excited as me! ;-)
I know some might not agree, but I'm over the typical garden stools that are everywhere (only to say, if I saw it at a steal I would snatch it up). But this gem on the other hand, iscalling yelling my name.

$100.00 smack-a-roos. It is no great deal, but like I said....yelling my name.
(Side note: This person is also still trying to sell the vanity seat I blogged about here.)
Seriously, aren't these faux bamboo nesting tables fabulous? They are priced at $135.00, and the owner has dropped the price every week....I'm still holding out though. They remind me of the HSN Nate Berkus coffee table that I so desperately want and isn't available anymore.
The person who has listed the nesting tables above is also trying to sell this salmon-y colored chest of drawers. I like the lines, knobs, and surprising the color of this piece. Priced at $265.
If I needed six dining room chairs, these babies would be mine! All mine, I tell you! Priced at $299.
The previous pieces I shown aren't exactly great deals, but this dresser is priced extremely well. I would probably give it a coat of paint, but for $25 I don't think you can go wrong.
I think if you styled this pair of side tables correctly, these would be rockin'. AND they are only $35 for the pair!
There are no dimensions for these tables, but they are both from West Elm. The console table is listed for $60 and the parson table is $75.
This rattan set is from Pier 1 and priced at $99, but you could probably negotiate it down a little (it has been on CL for a few weeks). Pillows are included. :-)
Well, I'm out. Happy Friday!

101 Things in 1001 Days
At the beginning of the year, I decided to start my own list of 101 things in 1001 days. This list was inspired by the lovely Mackenzie of Design Darling. I'm sure you know who she is, but if not, her blog is a must read.
The reason I put this list together is because I'm not exactly happy with some aspects of my life right now, and this list serves as a go-for-it / get-your-sh*t-together-kinda motivation for me. :-) So with that said, I am going to post a few of my 101 items, in no particular order, every once in a while. I have already started checking a few items off the list, but I am eager to cross off even more!

6. Travel to Europe. I so desparately want to see Paris, I can't stand it any longer!
{via JFK Library}
18. Take a cooking class. Who doesn't love a delicious meal?
{via The Vintage Bazaar}
28. Attend a furniture auction. I've never been, but it seems like something that is right up my alley!
What about you? Any ideas for 101 in 1001 list?

The LBD
I was flipping (electronically, of course) through the most current issue of the Matchbook magazine, when an article about the little black dress caught my eye. The LBD....a dress that is appropriate and tasteful, yet sleek and sexy. I know all things neon are stealing headlines right now, but in thirty years the LBD will still be a classic piece in every woman's closet. I doubt you can say that for that hot pink number in your shopping cart.

How many LBD's do you have in your closet?

Weekend Happenings
- Went to Mirko Pasta. Wasn't crazy about the food, but the atmosphere was good....fireplace and live music.
- Fixed a leaky shower faucet. Hollaaaa, the boyfriend and I rocked that task. I have another leaky faucet, so I will give a step-by-step of that process on the next go round. Totally the highlight of my weekend!
- Fixed open faced chicken biscuits, but it wasn't exactly planned. I didn't have anything in the frig, so I threw some biscuits in the oven and leftover (chopped up)chicken in a pan with some cheese. The original plan was to make a sandwich with the biscuits, but I ended up burning the bottoms, so I cut the bottoms of the biscuits off, flipped it over, and covered it with the chicken-cheese-deliciousness. Yes, deliciousness.
- Went to Farm Burger. Holy hell. Go there, you will thank me. It was the jam. And now that we are
- Went to the boyfriend's for a Super Bowl party. I fixed buffalo chicken dip and it was a hit. Recipe and my tweaks can be found here. My boyfriend's roommate's girlfriend baked some cookies and they were the BOMB. I'm going to try and get the recipe this weekend, so stay tuned.

Hello, Monogram Bedding.
A couple of days ago, I posted about sconces for my bedroom. Now I am looking for bedding and I think my monogram would be absolute perfection. I have yet to decide if I would like a monogram duvet with matching monogram pillows or just a fabulous, single monogram pillow with simple bedding. Whatcha think?
The last picture is my fav, for sure. And on that note, I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Sconces
I have decided to axe bedside table lamps for my room and instead get sconces. I have never really thought of myself of a sconce-type-of-girl, but I think they will be perfect for my small space. Below are some of my inspiration pictures.
Hmm, when looking at all the pictures I noticed a specific style of sconce too. It is funny that you can be drawn to certain things and not even realize it.
